Marco Goldschmied joined Richard + Su Rogers in 1969 and in 1977 became co-founder of the Richard Rogers Partnership, (RRP), along with Richard Rogers, Mike Davies, and John Young. In 1984 he became managing director of RRP and was instrumental in growing the practice from a staff of 5 to 120.
He was involved in many of the major projects undertaken by the practice, including the Pompidou Centre, Lloyd’s of London, Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and Thames Wharf Studios. From 1991 – 2001, Marco was President of the Royal Institute of British Architects, (RIBA).
