Jack joined Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners in 2002. He was made an Associate in 2011, a Senior Associate in 2016 and a Senior Associate in 2021. His professional experience ranges from civic, industrial, commercial, educational to residential and across all project stages from concept/competition through to completion.
Jack’s first project was The Leadenhall Building, where he played a key role in each stage of the planning and design process including the structure, landscape, and interiors, seeing it through to its completion in 2014. This included spending three years on-site, working closely with the contractor, Laing O’Rourke.
Between 2014 and 2018 Jack worked on the redevelopment of the central campus at the London School of Economics, (LSE), where he was one of two lead architects, overseeing the facade and structure.
LSE Centre Building achieved a BREEAM Outstanding classification and won a 2021 RIBA National Award.
In 2021 Jack was also project lead on an international airport competition and team member for a large net zero masterplanning competition.
Jack can switch easily between big picture thinking and the overview of a scheme, to detail design. He brings enthusiasm, energy to any project and particularly enjoys collaboration to drive design and innovation into projects and broader R&D.
Currently, Jack is working on a 555-unit residential redevelopment of the historic Bethnal Green Gasholder site, where he is the lead architect. The project was granted planning approval in 2020 and is now at Stage 3 design.
Alongside his project work, he is a lead for the RSHP Design Think Tank at the London School of Architecture.
Jack is a mentor for Blueprint for All (formally The Stephen Lawrence Trust) supporting young people from under-represented backgrounds helping them into careers in architecture.
He is also a member the RSHP Sustainability Committee and a Technical Tutor at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London (UCL).
