This year’s awards celebrated 26 exemplar architectural projects from around the globe, selected across ten separate categories.
Now in their 15th year, the awards are the only competition exclusively celebrating excellence in unbuilt or incomplete projects. With a strong focus on creativity, the awards are a chance to showcase projects that are examples of innovative and outstanding architecture that have successfully responded to the development brief, and have also taken into consideration the full impact and contribution they will make on the communities around them.
This year’s jury included Dr. Sutherland Lyall, architectural journalist, Company; Roger Zogolovitch, creative director, Solidspace; and Peter Stewart, architect and principal, Peter Stewart Consultancy. Paul Finch, programme director, World Architecture Festival, chaired the jury. The prize was announced at a prestigious prize giving ceremony in Cannes during MIPIM on 16 March.
